I add a special item or two to my Santa list each year. This year it was the Miller High Heel Motorcycle boots from J.Crew. They are a testament to my somewhat eclectic taste in clothes. While they don't exactly scream anarchy, I love the way the buckle and zipper details add a bit of tough girl chic to a casual outfit. I have a lot of bulky winter sweaters to wear with these boots.

I sized down in these and they're perfect even with a thin sock. The modest platform sole and sturdy heel makes them very comfortable for walking.
