First Impression Favorites - J.Crew New Arrivals For Spring

Am I the only one who wishes it was May 1st instead of February 1st, and all the new spring arrivals at my favorite fashion retailer would be wearable right now?

It's been a week full of fashion eye candy from retailers I like, including Madewell and J.Crew. Every time I look at J.Crew's website I find something else to like! Every single one of these lovelies would be the perfect addition to my closet. Except I need to keep reminding myself that I already have an abundance of pretty spring and summer clothes, and that this very long wishlist will be narrowed down to a much smaller one.

Here are my first impression favorites from J.Crew's Spring 2013 new arrivals. Are any of these on your wishlist too?

10. Tweed Front Tee ( I like this in both colors)

What are your plans for the spring closet? Are you doing a major closet purge to make room for the new wishlist, or just looking for select items to update what you already own? Do tell.

Thanks for visiting my blog and have a terrific Friday! :)

  2. Hi Tasia! I adore the butterfly print too. The one thing is that I can't tell from the website whether the color is similar to the warm jade from the past, or a shade that I can't wear so well. If it's the warm jade, then I'm sold! :)

  3. I LOVE all of your sets!!!! And, I love your picks as well. Like you and Tasia, I really like the butterfly print. OOOOOOO, as Tasia points out, a skirt would be delightful in that print. I also love the Scalloped Ballet Flats and the Fan Fringe Necklace as well!

    1. Hi WMM! The Factory seems to have the more basic pieces this season. I especially like their double-serge skirts for spring and summer. Also curious about the pants and skirt I added to the coral set.

  10. Great picks! I am loving the tartine satchel too. But can't decide whether to get it in black or the colorblock.

    1. Hi Small Town Gal - thanks for visiting. I can't tell from the website photo just how pink the light part is. It seems like a blush pink. Very pretty.

  12. Thank you for putting together these wonderful Polyvore sets - such a great way to visualize a whole series of outfits in each palette! There's lots to love in the new spring collection but I have to limit my wishlist to a few select pieces as my budget is severely curtailed this year. I am busy purging my wardrobe to get of things that don't reflect my style, and I am going to try to be very careful about what I add back in. The Tartine Colourblock satchel is really nice but I have to see how big it is in person before making up my mind.

    Hope you are doing well!!
