J.Crew Collection Cashmere Colorblock Sweater

If you like stripes and quirky color combinations, and crave a thick soft cashmere, this sweater meets those expectations. I decided to give it a try when it hit the sale section. It's a boxy cut, as you can see above. Sizing down lessens the effect somewhat (I'm wearing XS). Sizing up to a small made the body about a half an inch longer and the overall fit was just a bit looser, including the arms, which I liked better.

The lilac/grey/mint version is more versatile heading into the spring transition, but I actually liked the currant/navy/green version better for myself.

Here's a few outfit ideas I came up with for both sweaters, mixed with items from my own closet:

With reduced prices and the additional discount, I managed to add a Collection cashmere polka dot sweater and a Collection cashmere tee to my closet recently. If you have your heart set on cashmere from J.Crew, these are some of the styles that are on sale right now:

  1. I was trying to resist but your sets pushed me over. Plus it's such a great price on sale plus the 40% off. I like the softer contrast and colors of the lilac/grey. You look great and I love all your ideas.

  2. Hi Tiffany! I was pleasantly surprised by it. Not sure how it will hold up with wear, but it's a thick cashmere knit that reminds me of older JC sweaters. Also, I don't find it to be itchy at all, and I'm quite sensitive to that.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like the sweater too if you end up getting it! :)
